We are not pretending self-hosting is expensive. If you have the people and the appetite, running your own stack is cheaper in euros. The line that matters is the 1.5 full-time engineers, and whether you would rather spend them on this.

Public list prices as published on 1 August 2026, applied to the workload described above. Negotiated discounts are common and are not included, for us or for them.
Yes, and we have — the per-GB vendor's price cut in March moved them below us for metrics-only workloads, which this page said for four months until we changed our own pricing.
